Saatva Plush Soft
Saatva says that their Plush Soft mattresses are, "For sleepers who prefer to feel their mattress hug them in a supportive embrace." The Plush Soft is 3 on the Mattress Comfort Scale of 1-10, a little softer than the "flagship model" Luxury Firm (5-6). According to Saatva, you should choose the Plush Soft mattress if you:
• Prefer to sleep on your side and sometimes your back,
• Like to feel enveloped in your bed and linens,
• Have trouble with your arms falling asleep before you do,
• Prefer a soft mattress.

The Plush Soft, like all of the Saatva mattresses, features "coil on coil" construction: two coil layers of differing characteristics. With the Saatva beds, the 7" Support System has hourglass-shaped connected coils (416 in the Queen size) made of tempered steel for the main support. The area of the Support Coil unit below the middle back is bolstered by "Chiro-guard" for additional lumbar support. This coil set rests on a ¹/₂" fiber pad (which is ⁷/₈" in the Luxury Firm) and is topped with a ¹/₂" loft pad. The edge of this unit is supported by Saatva's "Dual Torsion Steel Edge Guards," which can be seen in the cutaway diagram on the Saatva website,

Above this is the 4" Comfort System with a coil unit of individually wrapped pocket coils (884 in Queen) for comformity to the sleeper's body. Atop the pocket coil unit is the comfort upholstery, consisting of an inner topper. This is where the Plush Soft really differs from the other two models. It has a ⁵/₈" soft foam layer, a ³/₈" lumbar pad of memory foam, and 2¹/₂" of super plush convoluted foam (the other two models do not have the covoluted foam). The Comfort System is foam-encased to preserve the integrity of the unit and to support the entire sleeping surface.

The quilted cover of the Saatva Plush Soft mattress is the same as on the Luxury Firm, with the super soft top panel of circular knit organic cotton, super soft foam with dacron, and fire resistant fiber.

The Saatva Plush Soft mattress carries a 15-year warranty, which also includes a "Fairness Replacement Option."
