Sealy Posturepedic Plush Pillowtop

As the name implies, Posturepedic mattresses provide users with the type of support that promotes straight spine alignments. However, what about users who want both comfort and support during sleep? This Sealy Pillowtop mattress possesses a comfort rating of seven, which makes it one of the softer Sealy Posturepedic Plush Pillowtops. Yet the mattress is not so soft that users sink into the center of the bed. The dual stage Titanium DSx Coil System provides more spine support than any other Sealy innerspring mattress.

An analysis of Sealy Posturepedic reviews reveals a common theme. Many reviewers note the proprietary CoreSupport Center with Memory Foam that consists of a reinforced memory foam center. Since most sleepers spend most of the night within the center third of a mattress, Sealy has developed technology to buttress the middle third of this Sealy Pillowtop mattress. In addition, the Sealy Posturepedic Plush Pillowtop relieves the pressure points for side sleepers who suffer from hip or leg pain. Posturepedic Plush reviews mention the SitRight Edge Support System, which allows users to sleep on either edge of the mattress without losing body support. Sealy recommends that Posturepedic Pillowtop users match the mattress with the Stay Tight Foundation to ensure the Sealy mattress does not shift during the night.

While many Sealy Posturepedic reviews focus on comfort and support, Sealy has earned the reputation for constructing highly durable mattresses. For the Sealy Posturepedic Plush Pillowtop, durability means the mattress retains its original feel longer than the average mattress line. Sealy Pillowtop mattresses include steel modules and a solid steel that augment support and durability. The modules absorb the weight and motion of restless sleepers, as well as prevent sleepers who sleep in one position from creating permanent body impressions. Sealy offers a durability chart for all of the company’s Plush Pillowtop models.

Sealy suggests this mattress for consumers who want more back support, but still want a soft overall feeling. Many reviews for Sealy Posturepedic mattresses include the suggestion that consumers consider the Copper Mountain Plush Pillowtop within this mattress category to maximize value.

Very poor mattress unless there is only one person using it or if both people weigh the same. The mattress gets lumpy on our back and shoulders causing back pain. The mattress does not support the heavier person (who is only 180 lbs) so the lighter 115 lb person always feels the slope of the mattress. Would never get another one!

Mattress Rating: 2 starsMattress Comfort: down

The mattress is always lumpy and hurts areas of my back. It started getting lumpy after the first year

Mattress Durability: down

It is too lumpy, the firmness does not hold up

Mattress Support: down

It hurts my back. If I turn it, it hurts my legs. One person weighs more than the other and it causes the person who weighs less to constantly "roll" to the other side of the bed.
