Sleep Harbor/Chiro Touch Series
Sleep Harbor/Chiro Touch is a series of pillowtop innerspring mattresses designed and made by Spring Time Bedding, Inc. (STB), a Paterson, NJ company. It has three models: Sleep Harbor 871, Sleep Harbor 872, Chiro Touch 985. STB says, "The serenity and beauty of the waterfront is wonderfully relaxing. Our Sleep Harbor Collection is exclusively designed to clear your mind while you sleep on this premium and innovating mattress."

The descriptions on the Spring Time Bedding website are the same for each of these three models except for heights and the warranty length. The height and warranty for each are as follows:
Sleep Harbor 871 - 10" - 5 years
Sleep Harbor 872 - 11½" - 5 years
Chiro Touch 985 - 11½" - 10 years

The Spring Time Bedding Sleep Harbor/Chiro Touch models feature "luxurious" cover fabric of stretch knit quilted with 2 layers of soft HD quilting foam. They call this Continuous Quilted Support. The pillow top has a layer of HD Comfort Foam, and the comfort layer is HD firm foam. Between these layers and the innerspring is a multi-layered insulator pad to protect the foam layers from the springs and to keep the springs from becoming entangled with the overlying comfort material.

Spring Time Bedding describes the innerspring of the Sleep Harbor/Chiro Touch mattresses as a "Heavy duty 312 coil 13/6 gauge unit." According to this, the springs are heavy duty with a coil count of 312 (normally this means in a queen-size mattress). Their account does not specify what type of springs are used. There are several that they could be: Bonnell, offset, Marshall (pocket), dual coils. There are also several ways coils are placed, including nested. We are waiting for the company to say.

There is a choice of foundation heights for the Spring Time Bedding Sleep Harbor/Chiro Touch mattresses, 9" standard or 5" low profile. STB does not say what kind of foundations these are, whether solid, slatted, or box springs.

As to where these models can be found, the tab "Locate Store" says, "To be updated . . ." The only indication given is that their products are available in New Jersey, New York and New England.
