Sleep Innovations Serta 10-Inch Gel Foam 3-Layer Mattress

The Sleep Innovations 10-Inch Gel Foam 3-Layer Mattress represents the higher level of the Sleep Innovations Sleep Collection, the 3-Layer Gel-Memory Foam model. It combines the gel-infused memory foam and the firm base foam with a middle layer of air chamber foam for increased air flow over the 2-Layer SureTemp model.

The 1-1/2" top layer of the 10-Inch Gel Foam 3-Layer Mattress by Sleep Innovations consists of SureTemp Memory Foam, which has been infused with gel microbeads. The gel acts as a heat sink, drawing heat from the sleepers and conducting it away from the sleeping surface, a technology which is quickly becoming the standard for memory foam products such as mattresses and seats. Sleep Innovations calls this "the perfect balance of comfort, support and a cooler night's sleep."

The middle layer is 1-1/2" of foam which has been texturized to allow air to flow through it. Heat which has been conducted this far by the gel-infused memory foam is dissipated in the moving air and carried to the edge of the mattress. This is engineered to maintain the optimal temperature for the sleeper.

At the bottom of the 10" Gel-Foam 3-Layer Mattress is the 7" Sleep Innovation Premium Base Foam to yield extra support and firmness. The overall effect of firmness and conformity contributes to better spinal alignment. According to Sleep Innovations, this completes the "perfect balance" of support, comfort and coolness.
