Select Comfort makes adjustable air beds for sale on the TV shopping channel QVC. For 2015, it has been three Sleep Number models: The Sleep Number® Icon Bed Set, the Sleep Number Memory Foam Bed Set, and the Sleep Number QSeries 6.1 Mattress Set. Two of these have been sold out by the time of this writing.
All three of these models feature Select Comfort's air control system with the signature Sleep Number on the settings. The user selects the most comfortable setting, bringing the firmness down from the top level of 100. Two person mattresses have dual air chambers, one on each side.
The Sleep Number Icon Bed is a 10" variant of Sleep Number's Innovation Series mattresses, being definitely shorter than SN's currently listed Innovation i8 (13"). Innovation i10 (15") or Innovation iLE (14"). The key feature of this series, including the Icon, is the two-sided comfort layer with memory foam on one side and support foam on the other. The support foam is configured into five zones of firmness to tailor support by areas of the body. The cover can be zipped open and the comfort layer flipped to modify the feel.
The cover of the Sleep Number Icon is a pillow top including CoolMax fabric for moisture control and cooling.
The Sleep Number Memory Foam Bed on QVC is in the Sleep Number Memory Foam Series. On the Sleep Number site it is compared to the Memory Foam m7, but it is the same height as the Memory Foam m6. The signature feature, of course, is the memory foam in the comfort layer. This memory foam is ventilated to allow air to flow through for cooling. Like the Icon, the cover has CoolMax fabric for controlling moisture and for cooling.
The Sleep Number QSeries 6.1 Mattress is equivalent to mattresses in Sleep Number's Performance Series, closest to the Performance p5 in height. The 2¼" plush comfort layer of Intralux has seven zones of firmness for seven areas of the sleeper's body. The plush pillow top does not have CoolMax, but it does have Hypersoft quilting foam.
The Sleep Number beds sold on QVC come with one of two foundations. The Sleep Number Modular Base is a platform foundation composed of lateral beams and inter-locking panels, The panels are perforated for ventilation. The modular construction makes it easy to bring the base through doors, up stairs, and through the hall to be set up in the bedroom. It provides the firm, even support needed by an air mattress.
The FlexFit adjustable base is one of three adjustable beds made by Leggett & Platt for Select Comfort. Although the model is not identified, the description matches the FlexFit 2.
Although sold on QVC, these Sleep Number adjustable air beds come with Select Comfort's 100-night sleep trial and 25-year limited warranty.
