Sleep Science 8" Dream
The tri-layered Dream mattress by Sleep Science is the simplest and least expensive of the Sleep Science adult mattresses. The top layer is memory foam, the middle is air flow foam, and the bottom is base support foam. Covered with bamboo blend fabric, this inexpensive ultra plush mattress will fit into almost any bed.
The bamboo-blend fabric in the cover acts as a wick, drawing moisture away from the sleeper while allowing air to circulate. This is to make the sleeping experience cooler and drier. The bamboo blend is also is also hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites and microbes.
The top layer of the Sleep Science 8" Dream Mattress is 3 inches of Sleep Science's own SlumberTech visco elastic memory foam. Memory foam responds to the weight and heat of the user's body, conforming to the shape of the body. This provides relief from pressure points, such at the shoulders and the hips, which is especially important to side sleepers. It is also supposed to improve circulation.
Since memory foam tends to collect heat from the users' bodies, the 2-inch middle layer of the Dream Mattress is engineered to facilitate maximum flow of air through the mattress, dissipating the heat and keeping it from building up. This is done through the open cell structure of the foam--large scale, intersecting bubbles.
The bottom layer of the Sleep Science 8" Dream is 3 inches of Support Tech base foam, a high density material to offer additional support, balancing the conformity of the memory foam to promote good spinal alignment.
The Dream Mattress by Sleep Science is sold through Costco. It comes with a 20-Year limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
