The four models in the Sleep Sensation Collection of innerspring mattresses by Spring Time Bedding are four different heights: 9" for the 511, 10" for 512, 11" for 513, and 12" for 514. The Sleep Sensation 511 is a Firm mattress, 514 is Plush, and the others are Firm Plush (aka Medium). The first two are tight-top models, and the last two are pillowtops.
Like the Twilight and Clear Sky mattresses, the Sleep Sensation models have stretch-knit covers quilted to two layers of high-density soft quilting foam. The stretch knit flexes with the foam comfort layers beneath for coördinated conformity without bunching or bridging.
Underneath the quilted cover of Sleep Sensation mattresses are three comfort layers. The top two layers are soft and firm foams, The third layer is a high-density base foam. Though the type of foam is not specified, the default foam for most mattresses is polyurethane foam, which is available in a full range of firmness levels from ultra firm to ultra plush. Under the comfort layers is a double-layered insulator pad to protect the foam from damage and to keep the coils from being jammed by the foam.
The support unit of Sleep Sensation mattresses is a 460-count innerspring of heavy-gauge coils. Foam encasement of the innerspring supplies edge support for the mattress, making the sleeping surface 100% usable, even to the edges, to keep the sleepers from rolling off due to edge sag.
Mattresses in the Sleep Sensation Collection, a s the other Spring Time Bedding models, meet the federal CPSC 16 CFR fire resistant standards.
The warranty for Sleep Sensation models requires sure support for the mattress, equivalent to that provided by Spring Time Bedding's upholstered foundations. The foundations (essentially platforms) are available a 9" Standard height or 5" Low Profile.
Sleep Sensation Collection mattresses carry a 10-year 5+5 warranty from Spring Time Bedding. The first five years are non-prorated. The final five are prorated with a charge of 1/25 the current price of the mattress for each year after the fifth year of the warranty. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the mattress, so if this mattress is bought as a gift, the warranty should be registered to the recipient.
