Sleep Therapy/Wickline Bedding of Escondido, California, calls their Sleep Therapy 7.0 Collection, "An exciting new line of high-quality mattresses from the Sleep Therapy family."
The Sleep Therapy 7.0 Collection consists of three models of innerspring mattresses with triple-zoned pocket coil innersprings and micro-fiber fabric technology in the covers. According to Sleep Therapy, mattresses in this collection help the user to "Cool off and Sleep Tight." The stated signature features of this series are:
- Uses advanced technology to keep you cool and comfortable.
- Micro fabric/fiber technology for increased air flow and perspiration absorption.
- Zoned support from top to bottom for customized comfort and pressure relief.
The three models in the Sleep Therapy 7.0 Collection are Indulgence, Blissful, and Caress. Indulgence and Carress are Eurotop mattresses, while Blissful is a pillowtop model.
These three models differ in the descriptions of their covers —
Indulgence's cover fabric is Ventas Air Flow. This material is designed to keep the mattress dry and cool. The model description says there are two layers, and that the fibers are "Moisture Absorbent,"
Blissful's four-way stretch cover fabric has Forestex Renewable Yarn. The description of Forestex by its producer, Bekaert Textiles Group, leads me to believe it is rayon made from forest timber.
The cover fabric of Caress is simply called "4 WayStretch Knit" with no mention of the fiber content.
The covers of all three Sleep Therapy 7.0 models are quilted to a layer of fiber called "virgin hypo allergenic," a layer of convoluted foam (a common method of pressure relief), and one or two comfort foam (probably polyurethane foam) layers. More comfort foam is in the upholstery layers.
The upholstery of each Sleep Therapy 7.0 mattress has a layer of gel-infused foam. In Indulgence and Blissful the gel-infused foam is aerated latex, 2" high in Indulgence and 1" in Blissful. This layer in Caress is gel memory foam.
All Sleep Therapy 7.0 Collection mattresses are supported by an innerspring of Tri-Zoned Pocketed Coils (768 in Queen). With firmer support in the center for back support, these individually wrapped pocket coils respond independently to relieve pressure and eliminate motion transfer.
Around this innerspring is a 3" wide foam encasement. This wall of high density foam provides edge support to the sleeping surface while keeping the coils in place.
Not mentioned in Sleep Therapy's descriptions, but present in all other pocket coil mattresses (so I assume it is here), is the base pad, which protects the coils from the bottom.
The "boxspring" for mattresses in the Sleep Therapy 7.0 Collection is a wood frame foundation. This is not specifically described, but this kind of foundation has either a solid wood top surface or closely-spaced slats with a center beam for the larger sizes. These models may be compatible with European wood slats or adjustable beds. However, the old-style box springs are generally not acceptable for pocket coil mattresses.
Sleep Therapy 7.0 Collection mattresses are covered by Wickline's 10-year non-prorated warranty.
