Stearns & Foster Luxury Series Ultra Firm
The Luxury line from Stearns & foster features individually wrapped coil springs, color patterns which complement the overall design of the bed, and a layer of latex foam which acts like an additional layer of pressure point relief inside the mattress. These features, along with the FoamEncasement edge support system and silk infused tufted cover, combine to produce a bed set which continues the 150 years of experience earned by Stearns and Foster.
The ultra firm Luxury set from Stearns & Foster is a very firm bed. You will see several inches of firm foam on top of the individually pocketed coil springs, so you should feel very firmly supported, but you won’t get the impression of sleeping on the floor. Stearns and Foster has incorporated designer fabrics, such as silk and wool, into the tufted smooth cover, and when you add the multiple layers of foam, you should not detect the spring base of the mattress at all. One of the layers of foam in the Luxury mattress set is a VRT layer (Variable Response Technology). This gives you a slightly firmer foam throughout the middle of the mattress for additional hip and low back support.
The quality materials and Foam Encasement edge support system provide details which would suggest that the Stearns & Foster Princes Street Luxury bed would be a great investment. The complexity of the design indicates that this would not be a budget or entry level model. The queen size should start below $1500, and euro-top or pillowtop options will certainly add to the price.

Stearns & Foster no longer uses the "Princes Street" name. The current Stearns & Foster collections are called Traditional, Estate, Lux Estate, Luxury Latex, Silver Dream, and Golden Elegance.
On their website, Stearns and Foster adds, "Additional features and options for customizing your bed are available at your local Stearns & Foster retailer."
