Sophie, a rent-to-own innerspring mattress made by Symbol Mattress, does not have an exact equivalent currently listed by Symbol on its website. The closest is Heartland, the only pillowtop mattress in the Traditional Series. Heartland has gel. Sophie is a Eurotop matttess and does not have gel, and a comparison of photos makes it obvious the heights differ.
Sophie is the second least expensive mattress lited by Rent One, a St. Louis rent-to-own store. It is only a little higher than its 9" foundation, about 10½" high.
The support core of the Sophie is a foam-encased VertiCoil innerspring. These offset coils made by Leggett & Platt have some conformity and pressure relief, though not as much as pocket coils.
The coil unit is encased by foam on all sides as well as top and bottom. This is edge support for the top of the mattress, and it protects the coils from entanglement by other materials.
The comfort layer is HyperSoft polyurethane foam. The euro top has a layer of memory foam. The memory foam provides pressure relief. Also, it is zoned for lumbar support. The HyperSoft is used to add plushness to the mattress.
Sophie comes with an upholstered high profile foundation (9" high). This is a flat top wooden box base. It will also work with box springs, platform beds, and adjustable beds.
