Tempflow Celestia
The Celestia mattress by Tempflow is an extra-plush, 11-inch mattress. It is the one of the more quickly reacting memory foam mattresses in the Tempflow line. The Celestia features three inches of SD Biogreen® memory foam, two inches of HR Comfort Flex, a two-inch Airflow Channel support layer, and a four-inch support base.

The Tempflow patented Airflow Transfer System is engineered for the reduction of heat build-up and promotion of breathable air circulation. The Airflow Transfer System uses many miniscule pores in the sleeping surface that share air flow with channels below for permitting air to flow down through the mattress.

The mattress cover pairs a sustainable resource fire sock with Tempflow's breathable stretch knit Kool-Flow bamboo fabric. Tempflow states that with GreenGuard's stringent testing protocol, their Biogreen memory foam tested lower than Oeko-Tex, Certipur-US and GreenGuard's allowable total V.O.C.s requirement for certification, about 1/13th the amount. This is besides Biogreen foam being free of these dangerous chemicals: PBDE, TDI, Boric Acid and Bromine.

The Tempflow mattress recommendation chart lists the Celestia as having a very soft and rapidly reacting surface that works quickly in any environment to provide optimal pressure point reduction for the joints, while still supporting the back with its resilient lower layers.

1.Tempur-Cloud Collection

I purchased a king size Cloud Luxe Breeze in February 2014. It was touted to be the coolest feeling mattress in the Tempurpedic line. Memory foam mattresses have historically been hot to sleep on, but many salespeople downplay that fact. The Tempurpedic salespeople stated the newer models are made of improved materials that have better airflow. The bed did feel cooler than the rest due to their Breeze material (extra $1000 option). Additionally, they wanted approximately $3000 more to have a split king, than just a 1 piece mattress. All they had to do was cut the mattress in half and put another cover on it. Their money back guarantee was good through 100 nights. All stores selling Tempurpedic are locked into selling that product for a fixed price. Was not exactly a bargain at $8900. My wife was in heaven, but she did not like it with the head of the bed raised slightly, which I needed for my reflux problem. I would wake up sweating after 3 to 4 hours. I returned to the store at least 3 times to discuss the heat issue. The store salespeople had no recommendations to deal with the overheating (are you kidding?). Did some online research at sleeplikethedead (an independent mattress comparison website) and bought a Feeling Cooler mattress cover for $300. Dr. Oz recommended it. It felt much cooler initially, but again after 3-4 hours – hot. Now if the bed were not so comfortable, I would not stay in one place and would roll onto my side, or to a cooler spot. Took all the mattress protectors and covers off and used a sheet only on their Breeze material cover. May have made the bed a little cooler, but I was still sweating after a few hours in one position. Found Relief Mart (Selectabed) online (through sleeplikethedead), who has the patented memory foam with holes drilled in all the layers down to a layer that had air chambers. Was a little leery, but it sounded like this was the thing that was missing from all the other mattresses. I buy few things sight unseen, so drove a few hours to the store in Westlake Village. Showroom was small but had full size mattresses of most of their models. When we first talked over the phone, they said they had a mattress comparable to the Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe. We tried it out and it did feel the same. We ordered one and In a couple short weeks, my bed was ready and was delivered. It is a California split king, that cost no more as a split then just as a single mattress. AND it was a fraction of the price of the Tempurpedic. We saved over $3000 and ended up with a better product. The adjustable base was less expensive and superior to what the other store was selling. I’ve had it for 2 months and no heat problems, even through the recent heat wave in Southern Ca. The tempflow claims to have lower VOC’s but I noticed an initially stronger smell than with the Tempurpedic, but it dissipated after a few days. Could have been because of the “encasement” cover that came with the Cloud Luxe Breeze.

As far as I'm concerned, this company (Relief-Mart) owes me money for their faulty mattress cover (which I called & emailed them about many times, but they avoided me every time). And I should get a free replacement for the mattress topper, as it ripped just from making the bed! (And I am NOT a strong person!) It rips far too easily. Also, they outright lied to me about it being off-gassed before being sent to me. And they obviously also lied about ease of returning things. Also, it's just an extremely hot mattress. Not cool at all. I wish they would make things right by me, but I've given up trying to contact them at this point. They just take a message if I call, and then no one returns my message. And they outright ignore my emails. Personally, I would not advise buying anything from this company unless you are pretty darn sure you will not be returning anything--ever.

It doesn't make my back go out--which is why I kept it (plus, they're impossible to reach to return anything). It is, however, hot as hell!. And the mattress itself has wrinkles all over it (not comfortable in that regard).

Alright so far.

It's supposed to be cool. It is not. It's so hot that I get literally soaking wet with sweat from sleeping on it. Also, even though it is their softest mattress, it is too hard for me. They did, however, send me a free mattress topper. This made it the right softness. However, the mattress topper ripped, and I can't put the mattress cover over it, because the cover I bought from them is as wrinkled as the mattress itself (not comfortable or attractive to sleep in large wrinkles everywhere). I wanted to at least return the topper, but they avoided all of my calls & emails about it. (They have great customer service UNTIL you actually buy from them. Then, they avoid you at all costs--if you're unhappy about anything.)

It's hot. There are large wrinkles everywhere. Also, I was personally assured it would be off-gassed before it got to me, but it most definitely was not. It had a sickeningly toxic-smelling chemical smell for many weeks. It's tolerable now, but still has an odor to it.
