Tempflow Gaia

The Gaia™ mattress by Tempflow is the softer of the two entry level memory foam mattresses they produce (the other being the much firmer Eclipse model). The Gaia is nine inches thick and composed of three layers. It utilizes Tempflow's patented Airflow Transfer System to reduce the accumulation of heat and foster air flow to make the mattress breathable. This is done by employing many small pores in the surface that lead to air channels in a lower layer for allowing air to flow throughout the mattress.

The Gaia also makes use of 2 inches of Tempflow's softer SD™ (superior density) ventilated Biogreenmemory foam. The middle layer is made of two inches of their Polyflexpolyurethane foam for a comfortable transition and support layer.

The base layer is the channeled layer that communicates airflow with the top two layers and is bonded by a GreenGuard certified adhesive.

Gaia is finished with an environmentally sustainable fire sock and breathable Kool-Flow Bamboo stretch-knit cover fabric.

Tempflow states that testing with GreenGuard's strict testing protocol, results for their Biogreen memory foam were about 13 times lower than the total V.O.C.s (volatile organic compounds) allowed for certification by Oeko-Tex, Certipur-US and GreenGuard. In addition, they say their foam has no dangerous chemicals such as Boric Acid, TDI, PBDE, and Bromine.

On the recommendation chart for Tempflow mattresses, Gaia is listed as a great all around design that fits most individuals, but it may not be the right model for sufferers of back pain.

Yes I would recommend this mattress and the company. They patiently answered all of my many questions!

The Gaia is our first memory foam mattress and it is a huge improvement over our traditional mattress.

We've only had it for 6 months; so far so good.

We feel the support we get works for both of us. I wanted somewhat firm and my husband wanted somewhat soft and this works for us both.

Love them! We have had our mattresses for two years and have become the people who always want to get home and sleep in our own bed. We purchased two twin xl Gaia mattresses in 2014 – Mine is a normal Gaia and my husbands was made a little softer. Love the fact with two mattresses we can personalize for how we each want them. We both stay way cooler while we are sleeping. The mattress has eliminated any shoulder pain while my husband is sleeping. Our beds are so comfortable! We look forward to crawling in to them to get a good nights rest.
