The TEMPUR-Cloud Allura by Tempur-Pedic is, at 13.5", the highest memory foam mattress in the TEMPUR-Cloud Collection. Tempur-Pedic has another Allura model, the Tempur-Contour Allura in the Tempur-Contour Collection

From the quilted Tempur-Top pillow-top to the Dual AirFlow base layer, Tempur-Pedic promises soft, plush comfort. According to the online sales pitches, the Tempur-Cloud Allura has "Deep, extra-plush comfort with the support you need to fully relax and topped with an extra soft, quilted pillow-top for an ultra-soft feel and truly luxurious sleep experience. Tempur-Adapt technology continuously adjusts to your body's shape, weight and temperature to provide personalized comfort throughout the night."

The one feature which sets the Cloud Allura apart from the other models in the TEMPUR-Cloud Collection is the quilted pillowtop. The breathable, hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking cover fabric is quilted to TEMPUR-Top material. This fabric is resistant to dust mites and is removable for cleaning. In this respect, the pillowtop both protects the rest of the mattress and adds to its softness and coolness.

The comfort section of the TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Allura is composed of two layers. The top layer is 2.5 inches of TEMPUR-ES comfort material. The TEMPUR-ES is the signature feature of the Tempur-Cloud Collection, offering comformability to the sleeper's body shape and wieght. Just under this is the 1.6-inch TEMPUR-HD support material, still conformable, but firmer. It is in these 2 memory foam layers where the TEMPUR-Adapt technology is at work.

The lowest section of the TEMPUR-Cloud Allura mattress by Tempur-Pedic is the Dual AirFlow base. This not only provides the main support for the sleepers, but also cools the mattress by fostering the flow of air between its convoluted surfaces.

TEMRUR-Pedic recommends their solid MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) platform foundation for the TEMPUR-Cloud Allura. This base is covered in microsuede fabric and comes in a choice of heights: 9" or 5". It is also compatible with Tempur-Pedic's Ergo Basic and Ergo Premier adjustable bases.

The TEMPUR-Cloud Allura carries a 25-year limited warranty. Tempur-Pedic also offers a 90-day tryout period.
