TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Luxe

At 13½" TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Luxe is the highest of the three TEMPUR-Contour Collection memory foam mattresses unveiled by Tempur-Pedic in Jamuary 2014. The other two models are Tempur-Contour Supreme and Tempur-Contour Elite.

Tempur-Pedic touts its product revisions for 2014 as, "We reinvented the mattress. Again. More to love, inside and out." Beginning with refinements to their TEMPUR Material (memory foam), they added the EasyRefresh™ Cover and the SmartClimate™ System.

The top panel of the EasyRefresh™ Cover is 360 ̊ zippered to be removable and washable. The stretchable high-loft fabric is combined with moisture-wicking fibers in the SmartClimate™ System. Moisture drawn from the surface evaporates to provide a cooling effect, a concept also employed by other manufacturers. The inner layer is treated for further cooling.

Two 2" memory foam layers work together to make the TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Luxe Medium-Firm with a Medium-High Tempur-Adapt level. The upper comfort layer is Tempur-HD and the lower support layer is Tempur.

The 9½" bottom layer of the Rhapsody Luxe is HR base foam. This foam, engineered for air circulation, is to both support and cool the whole mattress.

The recommended foundations for the TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Luxe are Tempurpedic's
- TEMPUR-Flat Foundation, an upholstered platform available in three heights: 9" Standard, 5" Low Profile, and 2" Ultra Low;
- TEMPUR-Up Foundation, an upholstered platform with a raisable head section;
- Two Tempur-Pedic Ergo Adjustable Bases: Ergo Plus and Ergo Premier.

The TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Luxe carries the Tempur-Pedic 10-year non-prorated warranty, which is standard for all new models. The mattresses are available through a number of retailers, in stores and online. Other retailers carrying the Tempur-Contour Collection are expected to add these new models soon.
