In 2015 TEMPUR-Pedic realigned its collections. It changed the TEMPUR-Choice Collection to the Special Solutions Collection, adding the Grandbed. TEMPUR-Pedic also lists TEMPUR-Cloud Luxe Breeze, TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme Breeze, and TEMPUR-Contour Rhapsody Breeze, although these models are still part of the TEMPUR-Cloud and TEMPUR-Contour collections.
The Special Solutions Collection is labeled by TEMPUR-Pedic as "For couples with different needs or those who sleep hot." This refers to the adjustable dual comfort of the TEMPUR-Choice models and the cooling of the Breeze mattresses, while the Grandbed is in a class of its own.
The TEMPUR-Choice Luxe and TEMPUR-Choice Supreme are hybrids of memory foam mattresses and air beds with dual controls for two-sleeper beds. The other four models pre-exist the former TEMPUR-Choice Collection.
All but the Grandbed (which has its own foundations) can be matched with any of the following TEMPUR-Pedic foundations: TEMPUR-Flat Foundation, TEMPUR-Up™ Foundation, TEMPUR-Ergo™ Plus Adjustable Base, and TEMPUR-Ergo™ Premiere Adjustable Base.
The composition of TEMPUR-Pedic's Special Solutions Collection has changed. The TEMPUR-Cloud® Luxe Breeze and TEMPUR-Cloud® Supreme Breeze are now in the new TEMPUR-Breeze Collection, and the TEMPUR-Contour™ Rhapsody Breeze has been discontinued.
The 2016 lineup of the Special Solutions Collection now has three mattresses and a mattress topper. It still has the Grandbed and the two members of the former TEMPUR-Choice Collection, TEMPUR-Choice Luxe and TEMPUR-Choice Supreme. It has also added the TEMPUR-Topper Supreme.
