The entry level model in Parklane RV Mattresses' Aero-Pedic CoolSleep collection by Parklane Mattresses is The Boondocker. The name of this model connotes an image of "roughing it" in the wilderness. It is a firm memory foam mattress, having a higher support core and thinner comfort layer than the other models in this grouping.
The high-density foam support core is 6½" high for firm, consistent support. One advantage of this thicker core is higher durability.
The comfort layer of The Boondocker is 1½" of Parklane's CoolSleep memory foam. The large open-cell structure encourages airflow for cooling, making it not build up heat the way the original memory foam did. Memory foam conforms to the sleeper's body contours for even distribution of support. The benefit of this is reduction of pressure points while the support core helps with spinal posture. Memory foam also dampens motion transfer to reduce partner disturbance.
The foam in The Boondocker is formed by the Variable Pressure Foaming technology, which makes the foam more durable.
The Boondocker has a zippered cover of micro-denier fabric which can be removed and cleaned. The fire barrier is rayon treated with silica. This negates the need for chemical applications to meet federal flame resistance standards.
The Boondocker CoolSleep RV Mattress is made in the United States. It is compressed and rolled for shipping by UPS to any place in the 48 contiguous states. Parklane Mattressess has a 30-day Return/Exchange Policy and covers this mattress with its Bronze warranty for 10 years. The first two years are non-prorated full coverage, while the rest are prorated.
