Tobia Gemma Thermal Comfort Plush is the second of two models in the
Gemma Sleep series of
Tobia Natural Sleep memory foam mattresses by
Spaldin Sleep Systems, the U.S. subsidiary of the Spanish company
Industrias Tobia. S.A..
Gemma mattresses feature
Gemma Foam, which has a gem-like expanded structure of open dodecahedron (12-faced) cells. This configuration is highly porous to both air and fluids. This is to keep the sleeping surface of the mattress both cool and dry.

The
Gemma Plush is identical in construction to the
Gemma Thermal Comfort Firm except for the lighter density of the top
foam layer (1.3 lbs vs. 2 lbs). These two models share the same organic
cotton cover fabric with
Visil flame retardant silica-viscose fibers. They also share the 3.2-lb. comfort layer of
memory foam and the 2-lb.
polyurethane support core.
The
Tobia Gemma Thermal Comfort Plush mattress carries a 20-year warranty. It is carries by several retailers and is compatible with
platform beds,
European-style slatted frames, and
adjustable beds.
