The
Duet®
Coil innerspring in the
Haydon Plush and
Haydon Firm is a pocket coil system consisting of dual coils. The advantage of pocket coils is the independent response of each coil to weight placed directly on it. First, this configures support to the contours of a sleeper's body, relieving pressure points. Secondly, this dampens motion transfer so that when one sleeper moves the other one is undisturbed.
Dual coils, such as in the
Haydon Collection's
Duet®
Coil individually wrapped coil-on-coil support system, have a shorter, firmer coil inside a taller, less firm coil, a 2-in-1 coil design. The outer coil is the first to respond, compressing in a cushioning manner. When the shorter coil is reached, it increases resistance, providing firm support. This arrangement, now used by several mattress manufacturers, enables the innerspring to adjust to both heavy and light users. The inner coil also helps promote correct spinal alignment.
Coil density in the middle section of the
Haydon Plush and
Haydon Firm mattresses is increased for more support to the back.
Cool Action™ gel memory foam in the top comfort layer of
Haydon Collection models adds cooling to the cradling comfort for which visco-elastic memory foam is best known. Memory foam responds to the sleeper's weight and body heat to conform to its contours. The gel is a heat sink, wicking heat away from the sleeping surface to dissipate.
Below the
Cool Action™ gel memory foam is another foam layer. In the
Haydon Plush this is softer
Serta Comfort Foam, and in the
Haydon Firm it is the firmer
Serta Support Foam.
The sleeping surface of the
Haydon Plush and
Haydon Firm features
Serta's
Continuous Comfort™ sleep surface design. According to
Serta, this keeps the cooling and the cradling of the
Cool Action™ close to the body of the sleeper. The cover fabric is a breathable stretch knit which is combined with fire resistant materials.
For the foundation of the
Trump Home iSeries Haydon Plush and
Haydon Firm,
Serta suggests its
Motion Perfect® Adjustable Base. This adjustable bed has a wireless remote, allowing the user to raise and lower the head and the foot of the bed for the most comfortable position. However, if the customer does not want an adjustable base, authorized retailers have approved box springs available in Standard Height or Low Profile.
All mattresses in the
Trump Home iSeries, including the
Haydon Plush and
Haydon Firm, have a 120-night trial period and a 25-year limited warranty.
