Vera Wang by Serta Collection
The Vera Wang by Serta Collection includes the following models already reviewed on this site: Signature Bridal (Firm), Sequin (Firm, Plush, Ultra Plush), Braid Bed (Firm, Plush), Floral (Firm, Plush, Ultra Plush). Additionally, there are more than two dozen other models. Some of these other model names are Bloom, Crystal, French Twist, Glitter, Golden Tresse, Sheer Romance, and Sheer Splendor. Each of these mattresses features Serta's Sensura® fabric, which has been exclusively created for the Vera Wang collection with a pattern produced by Vera Wang's designers (see photo).
Vera Wang is a native of New York City, which is also known as "Paris of the Americas." She is known for her high-fashion designs and as the founder of the Vera Wang Group. In a press release, Serta said this (abbreviated) about the Vera Wang Group:
"Vera Wang Group designs, markets and distributes collections of women’s ready-to-wear, Lavender Label, bridal and maids apparel under the Vera Wang name. Vera Wang Licensing LLC, the licensing division of the company, has selectively granted licenses for the manufacture and distribution of fragrance and beauty-related products (Coty Prestige, Inc.), ... china, crystal, silver and gifts (Wedgwood), ... mattresses (Serta Mattress Company) and flowers (FTD.com)."
The Vera Wang by Serta® mattress collection was launched by Serta and the Vera Wang Group in Spring 2006. It was available through several local and online retailers nationwide. According to Serta's website on Serta History, "The line is no longer in production." Judging by the dates of online retailers' postings, production ended sometime in 2011 or 2012.
As was stated above, mattresses in the Vera Wang by Serta Collection feature Serta's Vera Wang designed Sensura® fabric. On some high-end models, such as the Signature Bridal, this includes a sheer veil overlay to enhance the look and feel of luxury. This fabric displays the Vera Wang logo in a repeating pattern. From the photos, this appears to be brocade. Also, the Floral models bear a floral design.
Serta describes the Vera Wang Collection as "an exclusive mattress collection by Serta in partnership with Vera Wang, available in both innerspring and foam core. [It] incorporates features like KoolComfort™ memory foam, Advanced Comfort Quilt™, Beyond Comfort™ Latex, and Talalay Latex." Most of the models have the innerspring core, but the Vera Wang Specialty Collection features all-foam mattresses. These include both latex foam and visco-elastic foam cores. Some of the model names in the Specialty Collection are Serene Signature, Serene Haven, and Beyond Felicity. One retailer advertised 30-year warranties with these Specialty models. The innerspring mattresses usually have 10-to-20 year warranties.
Heights of mattresses in the Vera Wang by Serta Collection range from 11 to 15.5 inches, with the plushest models being the thickest. The mattresses in this collection were advertised as being high style, romantic, and luxurious. The connection with weddings was emphasized. For instance, the 2009 advertising campaign was titled, "Comfortably Ever After."

I'm quite disappointed in the mattress, and I don't think I'll buy a memory foam mattress again.

After a few years, I started waking up in the middle of the night, with a sore back.
Mattress Durability:
We flip the bed end to end twice a year, and we still have body impressions. The memory foam has lost its memory and we each sink into a hole at night.
