A producer of outdoor products established in 1979 spun off Zinus as a manufacturer of "indoor comfort products" in 2003. Their product lines include Mattresses, Beds, Bases & Foundations, and Pillows & Toppers.
The three lines of Zinus branded mattresses are Memory Foam Mattresses, iCoil Spring Mattresses, and iCoil Spring & Memory Foam Hybrid Mattresses. They also produce Spa Sensations mattresses. Besides these, they also make other brands (some for other companies) such as Night Therapy, Vivon, Mattress in a box, and Keetsa. They also produce Slumber 1 mattresses.
Zinus owns a factory in Xiamen, China, which has over a million square feet of production space. Their headquarters are in San Leandro, California, with distribution centers in San Leandro and Hayward. In 2014 or 2015, their foams were certified by CertiPUR-US. One claim they make is using BioFoam, in which some of the petroleum is replaced by natural plant oil. Another claim Zinus has to healthy and eco-friendly products is the use of Evergreen, an extract from green tea, in some of their foams.
Zinus-made mattresses are sold through many outlets, including online. Several are mattress-in-a-box models. This includes Zinus and Slumber 1 pocket coil innerspring mattresses. A few of their retailers are Walmart, Costco and Amazon.
