The Revita Series is one of five series in the CRāVE Collection, a group of innerspring mattresses introduced in 2014 by Carolina Mattress Guild. The other series are Aura, Viva, Edge and Classic. The Revita Series has only two models, Revita Firm and Revita Plush. These two models share most features—wrapped pocket coil innerspring unit, full foam encasement, base pad, and the use of plant-oil foams. Where they differ is in the height, firmness and number of layers in the comfort core. Both models are available in the five standard sizes.
The heart of the Revita Series mattresses is the 660-count innerspring support of wrapped pocket coils (aka Marshall coils). These conforming coils respond individually to the shape and weight of the body to relieve pressure and preserve proper spinal posture, a benefit like that of memory foam, but without the heat build-up. They also don't transfer motion from one side of the bed to the other.
The full foam encasement and the foam base pad protect the coils. The encasement keeps the independent coils in place and upright, preserving the integity of the array. It also provides edge support for the sleeping surface. The base foam pad is a shock absorber. Together, they extend the life of the coils. Both foams are soy based.
The comfort cores of the Revita Plush and the Revita Firm are soy foam. The Revita Plush has two plush layers of this plant-based foam, while the Revita Firm has one extra-thick firm layer. The use of soy oil polyols in the comfort foam reduces the use of petroleum products in mattresses. This reduces the presence of harmful chemicals and keeps the cost of fuel down.

Carolina Mattress Guild provides stability foundations for the Revita Firm and the Revita Plush with upholstery to coordinate with the mattress. These platforms are made of furniture-grade wood: spruce, pine and/or fir. Two heights are available: 9" Standard or 5" Low Profile.
Both Revita Series models come with Carolina Mattress Guild's 10-year limited warranty, which is non-prorated. A mattress cover is suggested to protect the mattress, also protecting the warranty.
