The Premier Collection of memory foam mattresses by Christeli has the three lowest models, ranging in from 7 to 11½ inches in height. Correspondingly, these are also the lowest-priced models. These models are Stockholm 7", Versailles 10", and Astoria 11½". All of these are crafted by hand in South Carolina.
Sockholm is definitely the entry-level mattress. It is the only current Christelli mattress with a cover of cotton and polyester, and the only model without the Body5™ Zoned Spinal Support.
All models in the Premier Collection use Christeli's Super Cool™ Memory Foam, replacing the Cool Breeze foam formerly used. This 5.3-lb. memory foam is ventilated for air flow to keep the sleeping surface dry and cool.
The support core for each Premier Collection mattress is Ortho-Core™ Support, a 2-lb. orthopedic support foam designed for proper spinal alignment. In Versailles and Astoria, this is zoned (Body5™ Zoned Spinal Support). And in Astoria, the firmness is adjustable.
Astoria also has what Christeli calls Cool Tufting™ tufted fibers. Christeli says these "provide a more comfortable feel, and cool night's sleep." Astoria is also the only one of these three models to have a box top.
Although Christeli does not list a model-by-model list of their mattresses and the Tempur-Pedic equivalents, according to their claims, memory foam mattresses in Christeli's Premier Collection are comparable to Tempur-Pedic mattresses at much more affordable prices.
All Christeli memory foam mattresses, including those in the Premier Collection, are compatible with platform beds, wood slat box foundations (with less than 6" between slats), steel bed frames with closely-spaced rods/bars, adjustable beds, and other foundations providing continuous support across the bottom of the mattress. Christeli sells a steel bed frame and three adjustable beds: Ergomatic 1000, Ergomatic 4000, and Ergomatic 5000.
