Christeli Stockholm

At 7" high, the Stockholm is the lowest and least expensive of the Premier Collection of Christeli memory foam mattresses. It is also the most basic, with Christeli's Super Cool™ Memory Foam on a base of Ortho-Core™-Support.

The comfort layer of Stockholm is 2" of 5.3-lb. Super Cool™ Memory Foam. Not just memory foam, this substance has an open-cell structure and is ventilated to allow air to flow through. This airflow cools the sleeping surface and keeps it dry. The advantage of memory foam is its conformity. Conforming to the sleeper's body contours, it evenly supports the entire length of the body to relieve pressure sores.

Memory foam usually reduces tossing and turning, which disturbs sleep. It is also found to improve circulation. It also dampens motion transfer from one side of the mattress to the other, which reduces partner disturbance. Christeli claims that this permits the deepest REM sleep.

Ortho-Core™-Support is the 5" high support unit of the Stockholm. Christeli's claim is that it is firm enough to properly support the spine, keeping it in correct alignment.

The cover of the Stockholm is a blended fabric of cotton and polyester. It is flexible enough to conform to the memory foam. The cover is also breathable.

In answer to a question, Christeli said that the Stockholm is flexible enough to be used on a futon. It also works with platform beds, wood slats, full-support steel bed frames, and adjustable beds, such as Christeli's Ergomatic 1000, Ergomatic 4000, or Ergomatic 5000.

The Stockholm comes with the Christeli Lifetime Manufacturers Warranty.
