CRāVE Aura Series

The second series in the new CRāVE Collection by Carolina Mattress Guild is the Aura Series. This series has three models: Aura Firm, Aura Cushion Firm, and Aura Plush Eurotop.

Like all the other models in this collection, the Aura models are innerspring mattresses. The innersprings are composed of 713 pocket coils. These individually wrapped coils respond independently. This conforms to the shape of the sleeper's body to evenly distribute support along the entire body to relieve pressure and foster good spinal posture. Pocket coils also isolate motion to minimize motion transfer.

The comfort layers have two kinds of foam. The top layer is Cool Breeze gel memory foam. This is CMG's soy-based open-cell memory foam infused with gel for cooling and enhanced support. The gel and the airflow facilitated by the open-cell structure combine to cool the sleeping surface. Memory foam offers conforming support, working together with the pocket coils to relieve pressure points and more effectively support the spine.

The second layer down is soy-based comfort foam. This foam is the key to the firmness levels of the individual models. In the Aura Firm this is high density firm foam. It is cushion firm in the Aura Cushion Firm and ultra plush in the Aura Plush Eurotop. This is plant-oil based foam, which reduces use of petroleum products. This foam, as are all Carolina Mattresses Guild foams, is certified as free from volatile organic compounds.

All the Aura Series mattresses have full foam encasement and a shock-absorbing base pad. The encasement girds the pocket coil innerspring and is edge support for the sleeping surface. The base pad protect the coils from underneath and dampens the impact of sudden pressures on the mattress (such as from children playing).

Carolina Mattress Guild provides a foundation made of furniture grade spruce, fir and pine harvested from forests in North America, a sustainable resource. These platforms are upholstered to complement the mattresses while providing consistent support for the mattress.

All Aura Series models are covered by Carolina Mattress Guild's 10-year limited warranty which is not prorated.
