CRāVE Collection Classic Series

The last listed series of CRāVE Collection innerspring mattresses by Carolina Matress Guild is the Classic Series. This series has only two models, Classic Firm and Classic Cushion Firm. These are the lowest height mattresses in the collection, and the simplest.

The covers of the Classic Series models are a "gorgeous fabric covering," the same description for other CRāVE mattresses.

The innerspring of Classic Series mattresses is a departure from the other series. Instead of pocket coils, these models rely on a 416-count Open Coil Unit for support. Open coils are a variation of offset coils, which have provided firm support for quality mattresses since 1926. Open coils have more conformity and less motion transfer than the original offset coils. they are firmer than pocket coils, making them suitable for firmer mattresses.

Perimeter support and edge support for Classic Series mattresses are provided by full foam encasement. And a soy-foam base pad on the bottom of the mattresses protect the coils from below and absorb shock.

The single comfort layer in the Classic Series mattresses is soy-based comfort foam. It is firm in the Classic Firm and cushion firm in the Classic Cushion Firm.

The upholstered Stability Foundation is made of wood from North American forests. The pine, fir or spruce in this foundation is furniture grade. It is available in two heights: 9" Standard and 5" Low Profile.

Classic Series mattresses are covered by a 10-year non-prorated limited warranty from Carolina Mattress Guild.
