BIA Mattresses

BIA Mattresses is the original manufacturer of mattresses for Mattress Development Company, LLC, doing business as Bedding Industries of America (BIA). BIA Mattresses began making mattresses in 1927, putting it among America's oldest mattress manufacturers. The parent company now includes two older manufacturers, Eastman House (1866) and Eclipse International (1905), as well as a newer one, Therapedic (1957).

BIA Mattress has 19 factory locations worldwide. All of them are shared by Eastman House, Eclipse International and Therapedic.

BIA Mattresses has two mattress lines, the Presidential Collection, with five series, and the Hospitality Series. Models in the Presidential Collection are named after U.S. Presidents.

The series in the Presidential Collection are Presidential Economy Line, Presidential Premium Line, Presidential Elite Pocketed Coil Line, Presidential Specialty Foam Line, and Presidential Two Sides Series. The first four series (or lines) are differentiated by their support units. The sixth series is identfied by the two-sided construction of its mattresses.

BIA Mattress is also the manufacturer of mattresses for the Earnest Hemngway Collection, a lifestyle suite of products and services.
